How to play Anubis Wrath: rules, paytable and the multiplier reel

You can learn this game in one session. The controls are ordinary. The depth lives in two places: the multiplier reels above the grid and what happens to them in free spins. This page walks through both, in the order you'll meet them on screen.

The board

Five reels, four rows, 1,024 ways to win. You win by landing 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost. No paylines to memorise. Above each of the five reels sits a small panel showing a multiplier for that spin.

That's the part to watch. Before the reels even stop, the game has already dealt you five overhead numbers, each somewhere between 3x and 500x.

The multiplier reel: the heart of the game

At the start of every spin, each reel gets a random multiplier from 3x to 500x. On its own that number does nothing.

It switches on when an Anubis symbol lands on that reel. Once active, the multiplier applies to the spin's total win, and it stays active until the spin ends. Two reels live in the same spin? The activated multipliers add together. A modest 5-symbol line that would pay 2x your bet can suddenly pay 2x times a combined 80x.

Most spins activate nothing, or one small reel. That's the high-volatility tax. But the rare spin where Anubis lands under a 100x or 500x is the whole reason the game exists.

Step by step: your first real spin

  1. Open Anubis Wrath — Pick a casino with PG Soft and open the game, or load the demo to practise. Our shortlist →
  2. Set your bet — Set your bet. The range runs from roughly ₱8 to ₱2,000, or Rp4,000 to Rp1,000,000, depending on the casino.
  3. Read the overhead multipliers — Note the five overhead multipliers before you spin. They change every round.
  4. Spin — Hit spin. If an Anubis lands on a reel, its multiplier lights up and applies to that spin's win.
  5. Trigger the free spins — Land 3 golden scarab scatters to trigger 15 free spins, where activated multipliers stack and never reset.
  6. Bank your wins — Bank your wins, stick to your loss limit, and stop when you planned to.

Autoplay lets you set 50 or 100 spins with a loss limit. Turbo speeds up the animation. Both sit in the settings panel next to the spin button.

The paytable: what each symbol pays

Values below are multiples of your total bet for a 5-of-a-kind win. Shorter combinations pay less; the in-game paytable has the full ladder.

Symbol5 on a line
Anubis (premium)50x
Scales, crook40x
Ankh, feather20x
A, K12x
Q, J5x
10, 93x

Those base numbers look small. They're meant to. The real money is the multiplier reel stacking on top. A 50x Anubis line under a combined 12x of live reels is 600x your bet in one spin, and that's before free spins enter the picture.

The Wild substitutes for every paying symbol except Scatter. Anubis is a separate premium symbol that activates the multiplier above the reel it lands on. The Scatter is the golden scarab and 3 or more trigger free spins.

Free spins: where the 10,000x lives

Trigger: 3 golden scarab scatters in one spin. You get 15 free spins, and each scatter beyond the third adds 3 more. Inside the bonus, the multiplier rules change in your favour — and this is the single most important thing to understand about the game:

Accumulate

Every multiplier you activate during the bonus drops to a running total at the bottom of the reels.

Never resets

That total never resets. It only grows, spin after spin, across all 15 free spins.

Compounds

Each win is multiplied by the live reels plus that accumulated total. Retrigger for even more room.

So free spin 2 might add 12x to the pot, spin 7 adds another 40x, spin 11 adds a 200x. By the back end of a good bonus, every single win is being multiplied by a huge number. This compounding is the engine. The base game is the price of admission. The bonus is the event.

Settings worth knowing

Bet sizing. The bet panel adjusts in steps. On a high-volatility slot, smaller is wiser: aim near 1% of your session bankroll so you survive long enough to reach a bonus. ₱2,000 bankroll means ₱20 spins; Rp1,000,000 means Rp10,000 spins.

Autoplay limits. Set a stop-on-loss before launching autoplay. The game halts when your balance drops by the chosen amount.

Turbo. Speeds up animation only. It doesn't touch odds, RTP, or the number of spins per bonus. It does burn bankroll faster per hour, so use it knowingly.

Sound and quick spin. Both togglable in the menu. The soundtrack is moody temple percussion; it tells you nothing the screen doesn't.

Common beginner mistakes

Betting big to "force" a bonus. Bet size has zero effect on scatter frequency. Big bets on a high-volatility slot just empty your bankroll before the bonus arrives.

Chasing the 500x. Seeing a 500x overhead is thrilling, but it only pays if Anubis lands on that exact reel, which is rare. Don't raise stakes because a big number is showing. The next spin re-rolls it anyway.

Quitting right after a bonus. The game has no memory. Scatters aren't "recharging". Quit on your time and loss limits, never on superstition.

Ignoring the demo. Every mechanic on this page is free to verify. The demo → costs nothing and pays in avoided tilt.

The honest takeaway

No symbol pattern or bet size guarantees a bonus. Scatter frequency is fixed and audited. Bet small, play long, and let the multiplier reels do their thing.

FAQ

How do I trigger free spins faster?

You can't. Scatter frequency is fixed in the math model. No bet size, time of day or "lucky" casino changes it. Anyone selling a trigger trick is selling fiction.

Do bigger bets improve RTP?

No. RTP is 96.75% at every stake. Bigger bets mean bigger swings, same expected return over time.

What's the most valuable symbol?

Anubis. It pays the top line value and activates the multiplier reel it lands on. On a high-multiplier spin it's the difference between a small win and a screenshot.

Does the multiplier reset during free spins?

No. That's the entire point of the bonus. The activated total holds across all 15 spins and only increases. It's the only realistic path to 10,000x.

Is there a buy-bonus option?

The current demo build shows a Feature Buy control. Whether it is enabled and what it costs can vary by operator or market. The regular trigger remains 3 scatters.
